Hi Melissa! I was just feeling gratitude for you this morning as I rode to work happy and content as I noticed that I continue to have one great morning after another with my kids. It made me think about other things as well: I continue to do really well focusing my intentions on encouraging responsibility and goodness in my children, and I am focusing on being the best person I can be at home and at work, and I have let go of trying to make my fiance happy and I am just present with him and I just try to listen well without judgement. I try as best I can to remain rational and when I do not, I accept responsibility for my behavior and I learn valuable lessons. Oh and also, I get along really well with my ex-husband. I step back often and can’t get over how positive our exchanges are. We even tell each other to “have a nice day.” Isn’t that amazing!!! I have no more anger towards him. I decided to let it all go away and that feels fabulous!! I feel an inner peace now – it’s like I have let go of so much unnecessary anger and worry. I now like myself just as I am and I am so much more gentle towards and accepting of myself. I notice my strengths much more than I notice my weaknesses now. It feels like such a relief. I wish this happened earlier in my life, but better late than never. There is just so much that you learn and change about yourself when you have the experience of having a life coach. I was thinking this morning about how much more positive my outlook and thought process are now. I think about the possibilities instead of the road blocks. I trust myself and other people much more and assume the best first. It is such a transformation. I think what feels the best is the congruence between your inner and outer self that emerges and becomes such a positive influence in every aspect of your life. Great appreciation and gratitude is sent to you today. Having you as my coach was one of the best things I have ever done.

I highly recommend Melissa as a coach. I started working with Melissa coincidentally the day after the traumatic end of my marriage. Melissa was right there with me with my grief and working with her was pivotal in my success in surviving the initial month of my breakup. She was completely present and was able to be with the deep sadness and helped shed light on the slivers of hope during this time. She works very intuitively, authentically and thoughtfully. Melissa empowered me during the darkest days of my life and I am forever grateful. I met Melissa after taking a class of hers on Intuitive Nutrition. She led this class with such grace and presence and with great connection to all the students. I initially wanted to work with Melissa on creating balance in my life as a self-employed artist and many of these challenges during our sessions were still relevant to me during this time. I feel stronger and more aligned due to my coaching sessions with Melissa and hope to work with her more in the future.

I love having Melissa as my Mindfulness Coach. Being a Life Coach myself, I really wanted a mindfulness partner to help me cultivate a real ‘in-the-moment’ approach to everyday living. I have less self-judgment, more self-compassion and a true awareness that broadens my ability to experience more peace, more love and more clarity. Melissa’s insights, questions and observations have taken my own personal development to the next level.

For the majority of my life I was on the larger side of the scale. I was always active and healthy, but for many reasons, that I have come to discover now, I was unable to lose any weight. This was a constant struggle and a dominant stressor in my life. Over the course of the year of 2008, Melissa and I chatted once a week at a coffee shop for an hour. These meetings became something I looked forward to each week and it never felt like work to change my life for the better. Eating right may have been the driving force that started my change in lifestyle, but it always comes down to the whole package. There were many things in my lifestyle that affected how and why I ate certain things, so it was extremely important to deal with them all. Now, I have to say that I was resistant to deal with some of those things, and if it weren’t for Melissa’s help I’m not sure I would have pushed through them until they were forced upon me. During the year Melissa and I worked together I lost over 50 lbs and got the life I always wanted in return. It has been two years since I lost the weight and it is still gone. Taking the time to help yourself is the first step to making your life better, so that you can be there for the people in your life you care about the most. Good luck with making positive changes for your life and know that if you need it Melissa is and will always be a wonderful person to have in your life. I am extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to have her in my life.

Melissa is a fabulous coach. She’s so insightful and intuitive. Her questions help me see things in a different way, revealing the core issues I’m not even aware of consciously. I’ve learned so much about myself in our work together. I’ve really been able to reconnect with myself and find more clarity of purpose and passion. She’s always so present in our sessions and creates a comfortable, accepting environment that allows me to deal with my deepest issues. She’s the perfect coach for anyone looking to bring more mindfulness, depth, self-awareness, and personal growth to their life.

I started working with Melissa because I was feeling a bit stuck and uninspired at work. I was having trouble tapping into that energy and enthusiasm that I had applied to my work in the past and knew I needed to make some kind of change. I thought Melissa could help me explore what I really wanted work to be, and then also identify steps that could help me get there. What came next was truly invigorating and exciting. Within a few weeks and just 4 sessions, I was able to articulate and visualize how I wanted to define my ‘work’ from now on. I found myself throwing away unnecessary lists of ‘shoulds’ and focusing on the things that truly mattered. And then I’d make it a point to spend my time doing just that. This seems so simple as I write it now, but it was a profound shift that not only improved my time at work, but also my time spent outside of work. It also led me to create both a physical space (an art studio of sorts) and the mental space to connect with these wants on a more regular basis so I could actively embrace this new mindset each day. I have truly enjoyed working with Melissa and highly recommend her as a coach. In my experience, Melissa is thoughtful, honest, committed to her work and deeply connected to her clients. She’s been supportive of my journey from day one and has helped create a safe place for me to try on new ideas and dreams without judgment.
Thank you Melissa!

Melissa is an amazingly skilled coach. She brings a grounded authenticity to each session that allows me to open doors, which in turn, provides me with new insight and perspectives. Our collaboration brings greater clarity and awareness so that I can create opportunities for myself that otherwise might not have been available to me. Melissa is intuitive, mindful and wonderfully creative in our sessions. We work, we laugh…we accomplish!

Melissa is an insightful, grounded and compassionate coach. Through working with her over a period of months I improved my ability to be attentive in each moment of my life. I was gently encouraged to sit with my feelings and move from my head to my heart. When I needed a kick in the pants she did it with enthusiasm and energy, and I was quickly on my way to achieving my goal. My meditation practice reached a deeper level, increasing my mindfulness. Melissa furthered my understanding of chakras and how to integrate the knowledge, enriching my life. She has my highest recommendation!
